Expanded Learning Opportunity Program ELO-P
Applications are now open for Exploration Experience, our after school Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) and/or ASES hosted at our school site for the upcoming school year.
What?
An exciting, no-cost opportunity for students in grades TK–8 to explore and engage in hands-on learning through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). The program also includes physical education, homework support, and may offer occasional off-site learning experiences.
Why?
These experiences help to broaden students' academic skills and knowledge as well as the social and emotional capacity to use their skills and knowledge competently and compassionately in life.
When?
Begins immediately after school and ends at 6:00 PM each day (including minimum days). Note: End time at the following schools: 5:00 PM at Crafton, Highland Grove, and Mission. 5:45 PM at Beattie 6:15 PM at Clement, Cope and Moore
Where?
Mentone, Franklin, Lugonia Mission, Victoria, Highland Grove, Bryn Mawr, Crafton, McKinley, Moore, Cope, Clement, Beattie
*TK/K students may be eligible for the Boys & Girls club in lieu of this opportunity if they attend AM or Earlybird TK/K class. Additionally, PM or Latebird TK/K students may also have access to before school opportunities through Boys & Girls Club.
**Students who are enrolled in ASES or YMCA will also have an opportunity to participate in our Exploration Experience, so registration is not necessary here.
